Position

Service technicians at NOYO are an important part of the team responsible for the outstanding maintenance and error diagnosis of our electric vehicles. This position requires an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of electric vehicles.

Our ideal candidates will have a passion for the latest developments in the  electric vehicle industry and software technology. You will be able to work in a dynamic environment and work closely with the customer service teams to resolve issues quickly and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This position is to be filled in Winterthur, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis of vehicles, repairs as well as manual and over-the-air software updates, also at customer's premises
  • Avoiding recurring repairs and returns by understanding customers' concerns and applying the right service procedures to ensure high satisfaction
  • Support in the creation and validation of detailed service repair manuals, service bulletins, technical and parts information and communications to customer service and vehicle owners
  • Immediate identification and reporting of complex technical problems in the service
  • Carrying out mobile services after prior remote diagnosis, including preparatory work such as ensuring parts availability
  • Communication with the customer, e.g. to confirm appointments, for detailed error descriptions or to ensure transparent customer information on work carried out on the vehicle (e.g. errors found, possible repairs, time required, documentation, safety inspection, maintenance)
  • Help with root cause analysis, identification of new trends, troubleshooting and reporting

Basic requirements

  • Completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician or similar training
  • Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field
  • Experience with battery-powered vehicles and sound knowledge of handling diagnostic equipment
  • Certification for work on high-voltage systems
  • Knowledge of ECU troubleshooting, CAN/LIN/i/Body Bus, LVDS etc.
  • Fluency in German; good knowledge of English is an advantage in the application process
  • Enjoy direct contact with customers
  • Willingness to travel and enjoy mobile working
  • Experience in dealing with customers, experience as a vehicle service advisor an advantage
